Did you know that female youkai are predatory towards man they deem fit to be husbands? It's true!

You may not know this, but women have an innate desire for romance and love, and of course reproduction. This is true even if those women are monsters. Age has made this worse in some youkai, as they've gone for centuries alone, frustrated and bitter. Eventually, something gives, and they decide to snap and kidnap the suitable man they can find!

The tactics they might pursue can vary between youkai, there's no standardized method. Some might act amicable, and offer you in their abode for tea. You take the sip, and at first you have a good time. But slowly, things start to blur, something is amiss. By the time you realize this isn't right, you've passed out on the ground, and you'll next awake to a needy and creepy youkai atop you, having bound you hands and feet to her bed, as she explains that you're married now.

Other youkai might not be so sly. They might be aggressive and sudden. You'll mind your business, maybe you're walking somewhere you shouldn't be, or you might even be in your room alone. Then BAM, the youkai breaks in and decides to kidnap you and carry you back to her lair, ignoring any complaints you might have. Now trapped in her domain, you've no choice but to adapt to your life as a youkai's husband.

These youkai are dangerous indeed, but in Monsokyo these actions can spread to even gods and humans! Powerful humans, whether their power comes from their roles as youkai exterminators or wealthy matrons of the human village, can still use underhanded tactics to trap a man into marriage.

If you're a single man and you're in Monsokyo, be careful and be vigilant! If need be, escape! As you won't stay a single virgin for long!
