不味いコトになった。
This is bad.

部屋に入って最初に見えたのは
ひっくり返ったケージだった。
どうしてそうなったのか理由は判らないが、
とにかく３つある内の一つが、ひっくり返っていた。
When I entered the room the first thing I saw was an overturn cage. I don't know the reason why, but one of the three was overturned.

３つのケージにはそれぞれ、
家ゆっくりの成体、そいつらの卵、
そして子ゆが２匹入っていた。
ひっくり返っていたのは親が入ってる万だ。
Of the 3 cages, one for adult house-yu, one for their eggs, and one contains two koyukkuri. The one containing parents of ten-thousand had been overturned.

中に入っていた１０匹の成体はどこにもいない。
部屋のどこかに潜んでいるのは間違いないので、
とにかく隈なく探すことにした。
The 10 adults that were inside were nowhere to be found. They were no doubt lurking around somewhere in the room, I decided to look for them thouroughly.

...不味いコトになった。
部屋のどこにもいない。
...This is bad. They're nowhere in the room.

たかが家ゆ。いなくなったから何だ？
と、普通なら思うだろうが、
やつらは私が手間をかけて作り上げた特別製。
繁殖力をアホみたいに強化しまくった家ゆなのだ。
They're only house-yu. Where'd they disappear to? If I think normally, over time I had them made special. Like an idiot the fertility of my house-yu has been strengthened.

半月あれば、やつらは百倍に増える。
それが逃げ出した。
しかも部屋にはいない。
更に不味いコトに、私はついさっき
１週間の出張から帰ってきたばかりなのである。

１０分前とかならともかく、１日以上前だったら不味い。
かなり不味い。凄く不味い。

とにかく、先ずはおねにえもんに相談しよう。
あの人専門家だし、きっと何とかしてくれる。
