It would be nice if the follow up revealed that Yuuka forced herself on (you) due to an inability to contain her feelings and the only reason (you) thought that she was just using you for pleasure was your fear of her nature.

Well, you do have to build up some sort of a fake persona to interact with strangers and new acquaintances. If you start immediately mouthing off about your deep passion for 2hu to a dude you just met, you'll probably turn him off.

On the other hand, I do get what you mean with the lack of authenticity. Although I only really noticed it when I left my lovely Easter European shithole to study in the UK. While back home people were more-or-less content to speak their mind once you got to know them, there people restricted themselves so much more. You might say this was due to cultural differences, but I found that older britbongs (ages 30 and up) are far more wiling to engage in deeper/weirder/niche topics even when they're not familiar with them (I remember getting into an extended discussion about 2hu and it's relation to various mythologies with a dude in his 40s). The younger generation (18 - 30), which I myself belong to, is mostly just focused on shallow entertainment, like blacking out on Friday evenings, and actively avoid any discussion more challenging than seasonal fashion trends, sometimes out of fear of being labelled "politically incorrect" (after a long-winded talk a gay dude admitted to me that he doesn't like the direction LGBT groups are currently going).

My advice to you would be to drop that fake persona, vocally identify and reject the inauthenticity that you see in your surroundings (don't be obnoxious about this, just simply say what you feel if you have strong feelings about something). This way, you'll attract people who feel in a similar fashion and be able to build up a friend circle consisting of passionate turbo-autists instead of vain normies. At least this method seemed to work for me, someone else's situation might be different.

I saw this image projected on a wall while regaining consciousness after surgery if that counts.
