I'm not saying that Shinki was intentionally abusive or anything, far from it, but can you imagine what it'd be like for the god of Makai, of all people, to discover that her prodigal daughter and pride and joy, of all people, was wetting herself? It'd be humiliating, infuriating and disgusting, and not only does a smart little tyke like Alice pick up on just what grief SHE (in her mind, anyway) caused Shinki, she's also got the distress of being punished for something she didn't even consciously do and might not've even been able to help. Just think about how hurtful all that is to a sweet little tot like Alice was.

Worst of all, what might've been a relatively-mild or one-off problem only got exacerbated and turned into a whole slew of psychological problems because as all-powerful as Shinki might be, even she's got the same problems and faults of any other parent including the relatively limited and crude knowledge of childrearing even as of just 20 years ago.

Are they yellow or blue? Or both? Do they change?
