What am I supposed to do on EoSD stage 5 hard mode? Do I have to stand still for the big fairies and move slightly to the left and right? I don't get it. They just appear and suddenly my screen is full of bullets and it's like, "HOW".

I feel like I'm figuring the game out slowly only to get blocked by some crazy "I'm not Japanese enough for this" shit.
