I can totally host up and have you play my entry-level little girl if that's your thing, but I like EFZ because it's different enough without being unplayable; soku is most certainly fun but, uh... why did I stop playing it, again? ... No actually that's probably a lie but hey, you know I'd host for either EFZ or VagPov if I had any faith left in my soul that a player would actually come. Hell, maybe a minute I'll host both at the same time.

Actually, if /jp/ would actually focus enough to move onto some other old doujin games that went under the radar like Fuuka Taisen or Touhou Hisuiden I would be much more than willing to get off my massive wooden ass and get a scene for them running.
The thing with /jp/ netplay, though, is that it's a very whimsical beast and while there will be massive threads that get to autosage in like two hours with every IP getting sniped for one day, the next you have naught but a single host waiting 24 hours for somebody to show up. Because that's not an environment most are happy to play in, they desert and by doing so do even more for making said environment even worse. That's why these games die so quickly.

Building onto this yes, I do realize that Mizuumi plays every one of those. Thing is, it doesn't seem like anything new's been coming out recently - aside from the rumors of VagPov 2.0 coming out next month - so unless we get a GGXX#R scene going or people decide they want to play Meltan again these are really the only choices we have if we're going to keep the /jp/ fightan group up.

Personally I'd be all for the second one just because of how ridiculously obscure it is and the fact that we could feel, you know, different from everybody else by doing it. Any of them are fine because I already have all 3.
If anybody else would like to suggest something else I'd be glad to hear it.

Because I DP on wakeup so much and you're afraid that I'll fuck myself over by abusing it? Awwh, it's so sweet of you to worry like that.
But I guess I can see that the EX version could technically work as a DP, and I've had enough experience with Baiken to know how to 6239 so not too much harm done. Won't be fun to get used to though.

It more or less explains itself; at the very least it gives me an idea of what to/not to use and when to/not to use them. Actually now that I think about it the "I'd rather not tell you this" bit is starting to make sense because the more I watch this, the more 421 is starting to look impractical; it would be wasted on my wakeup DP habit. From what I can tell it seems to be used more for spacing, which is what I'd sort of been attempting to do up to this point so I must not've been too far off.

The perfect target. I swear every time I've played any other Johnn-- Mai I just wanted to hit her instead, the same way I like lightning Michiru. I dunno what it is (besides the obvious fact of, you know, being able to do damage) but I always want to just go out of my way to hit her instead of the opponent.
Hopefully for my case, I'm not the only one who thinks that way.

What piques my curiosity the most, though: is the music replaced on these videos or something, or are my files just fucked? I checked through my BGM folder and I couldn't find the version of Shoujo no Ori that's playing in all these tourneyfag videos I've seen so far, nor is it what plays in that stage in my version. On top of that, when I played this like 4 years ago or whatever I don't remember hearing it, so this is going to baffle the crap out of me.
Also that Misuzu BnB is the fucking coolest-looking thing ever.
