You don't lose inventory space either, that extra vip tab was added recently. Although there's the shop bags but that isn't a big deal since they decided to give us a break and give a seperate tab for all that indestructible shit that fills your inventory.

In my day, you just had your one inventory tab and maybe that bag, and dealt with it.
