Adding fur to the body of a kitsune only adds a marginal mofu benefit but decreases the overall quality; all it tells us is that you can't accept her unless she has more hard animal features. It also doesn't help that 90% of furry art is eye-watering garbage because westerners cant into the concept of mofu and just want to fuck dogs. Kemonomimi has the benefit that they are not typically drawn with a focus on hard animal parts, just looking soft and cuddly. Still, despite all this a normal kitsune has all the benefits of copious amounts of fur to cuddle into without straying into furfaggotry. It is the best of both worlds with zero downsides.
