I'm sure that was the case only for the first 2 or 3 years, and when they saw that the project beings profits they let him make decisions by himself.
Cause if you look at Amuse's other artists it seems like there are two different worlds of managing going on there, one in which are the other artists and in which BM was at the begining too, and the Kobayashi's mysterious stupid lore bulshit, which was good thing to do for the first 2-4 years, but it's not good thing to being continued for 10.
I swear it all looks more and more as if he thinks their fans stopped growing up and are still a bunch of teens and youngsters happy to take without questioning whatever BS he would throw at them.
Also think about this, if it would be Amuse who pulls the strings, would he had to sell criminally overpriced (and often questionable) merch and selling books to financially support the band?
Because to me it looks exactly like he has to do it, cause Amuse told him if he wants to run the project his way, he also has to take most of the financial responsibility for it.
