Even if she didn't fully understand them, she'd at least try to indulge herself in your interests and hobbies. She does want to participate in her children's lives. Chen is a kid and would likely get into them quite fast, so you'd have someone to always play co-op or vs games with as long as you two haven't exhausted your daily video game time limit that Ran would impose. I doubt Yukari would like games very much. She's old and quite busy with work and stuff after all.
