Hey /jp/, story time.
My father recently went away to his other house down south for the winter to visit my sisters, leaving me to take care of the one I grew up in,I said only my father because my mother divorced my father when I was 9 and my older sisters were 12 and 16(my father got custody of me while my sisters were left to my mother)Last night, I had a dream. One of the dreams I had often when I was a boy, I was in a court room with my mother screaming at me and threatening to send me to execution(I wasn't fond of my mother), and Alice is defending me. I had fallen in love with Alice, my first crush was a story book character. The dream stops for me after being sentenced to death before I was found innocent or guilty. I woke up, I immediately went to the study, the same study where I spent most of my childhood. It was calling me. Nobody ever even touched the study besides me, all the books seamed as if nobody had ever read them before I stumbled upon them. I opened the door, everything was exactly as I left them, even the key I left in the door was there...except on the table inside there was a book, 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' the Illustrations were by Arthur Rackham, search for them if you have the time. The illustrations are stunning. It was the same copy I read as a boy,completely unchanged from where I left it. I pick up the book from it's spot on the table in the study. And I see a bookmark in the book, one I don't recognize, from what I saw it was a card. I open it up to where the bookmark was placed the card inside the book is the Jack of Hearts, its at the part where Alice decides to defend the Knave of Hearts during the trial against him. The Queen of hearts saying to start the sentence before the verdict. I fell in love with Alice then, and even to today I have a fondness for her.
