oh my...

I imagine Ran being the go-to person in Gensokyo for all the touhous who have the urge to be babied. They call Ran and set up an appointment and they come over to Mayohiga while Yukari and Chen are gone and she diapers them and feeds them and rocks them back and forth to sleep.

In the morning, the touhou leaves, waving goodbye to Ran and thanking her for making them feel loved and stress-free for a single night.

The thing is, Ran is actually the one who feels she should be thanking them, as she is barren, and can never have a real child of her own. Ran's babysitting service is the closest she will ever get to feeling the love of a child.

As the client leaves in the morning and waves goodbye, Ran waves back, and sheds a single tear...

This morning it was snowing and blustery out here in Norteastern Ohio.

Yesterday was pretty terrible, but I decided to get on /jp/ this morning and look for Mama Ran. There was no Mama Ran wishing me a good day, but I decided to try to drive to work anyway.

I got stuck in a snow drift and had to have a plow truck pull me out and ended up not going to work and breaking my 9-months of perfect attendance.

If Mama Ran had wished me a good day this morning, maybe those terrible things would not have happened.

I hate you Mama Ran.

It is canon that Chen is too untrustworthy to do any chores or have any responsibilities. She pretty much does nothing for the household.

Ran is still absolutely crazy about Chen and loves her more than anything in the world.

Mama Ran is like a loving mother who lies to herself about her child being a worthless neet and lets her get away with not having a job or having anything useful to do with her life.

Yukari sleeps all the time because she is sad of what her family has become as she hoped her child would grow up to be great, but instead is useless, and Ran is OK with this.
