I mean, what do they currently do? I know Type-Moon started out a visual novel development group that made Tsukihime, Kagetsu Tohya, Tsukihime PLUS-DISC, Melty Blood (co-developed with French Bread), Fate/stay night, Fate/Hollow Ataraxia and Witch on the Holy Night. But ever Witch on the Holy Night, which was released over 8 years ago, in 2012, there's been nothing new from Type-Moon themselves.

The Fate animes are developed and produced by Aniplex (afaik), Fate/Grand Order is developed by Delightworks and Aniplex, Witch on the Holy Night's sequels have never been released and the Tsukihime remake has been in development hell for 12 years.

Why does this company still even exist? What do they do? Do the employees clock in every day, see Nasu and Takeuchi busy at Delightworks and sit down and sleep all day and then clock out and go home? One can argue that Fate/Extra Record is being developed by Type-Moon BB, but that's BB, not the main studio. What DO they do? Apparently last year Nasu mentioned playtesting the Tsukihime remake but at the pace it's going, it looks like he works on it one day a month or something (definitely not every day). So what do the developers do then? I genuinely cannot understand how a company that's doing nothing has and pays at least 14 employees (according to the Type-Moon wiki).

That's why I don't understand the reason for all the animosity against generals - each of them is just one thread among 150, even if you add all of them up and you won't even get 10% of most boards. If they keep to themselves, even if you hate the content of their threads, as long as they're on-topic then what's the harm? They're certainly a better option than people making multiple threads for anything and taking up actual space in the board, hell even moot himself told people to condense their shit when he made this board and that's what literally every single general does.

I guess in the end it's just an advanced form of "stop liking what I dislike".
