I always thought it's like glass orb too but actually so hot that your hand melted if you touched it and it houses power of yatagarasu afterall or so i always thought atleast.
I recall there was some fanart where it was actually too hot for any other than okuu to touch.

Don't really know did i saw it in dream or was it actual made by someone but i recall picture of guy getting dick burned by that orb while okuu giving paizuri, Okuu continuing while not realizing that her orb is too hot for others to handle.
