Hey it's Crumble-kun, since Pastebin is auto-censoring anything more titilating than a funeral, I've decided to move to AO3 because you can do whatever you want there. I was a big proponent of pastebin, but it seems that it's no longer fit for that purpose, if it ever was. I'll still try to publish the chapters on Pastebin anyway, but again, anything sexual immediately flags the post and sets it to private. You can imagine how that impacts writing MGE stories.

Speaking of which, here is a new chapter for you, pick your poison.

>life has been pretty tough after your wife passed away
>being a single father is stressful, but your daughter's smiling face gives you the strength to do your best everyday
>she's growing into a fine young woman, the spitting image of her mother, but you feel she needs a monster mother figure to properly guide her through womanhood
>it's hard to get back into the dating scene when you can't stop thinking about your former wife, though
>you're browsing an internet dating site in the living room when your daughter walks in
>she's wearing her mother's high school uniform. she looks just like her mom did all those years ago when you first met
>she sidles up next to you on the couch and looks you right in the eyes
>"I've noticed how lonely you are, Papa. It really breaks my heart to see you like this. If you can't forget about Mama, then let me be your new wife. I'll make you feel good Pa- No, Anon~"
Surely you can't cross that line with your daughter, can you?

From what I remember reading, I'd be more inclined to think that it's physiological. It's not a condition in itself. Fairly certain it's caused by discrepancies in what your brain is being told by the parts of your inner ear that deal with balance, and what other spatial sensory information is being fed into your brain.
Plus, people can end up experiencing it without being at height, if they have certain conditions. With that in mind, I'd definitely label it as physiological.

Don't worry about the odds. Just learn each new thing, and solve each new problem, one at a time. And dedicate yourself, too.
You can do it.

I do try to do more than just give out names at random.
Anyone who's made a non-self insert character in a videogame where you can make your own character will know what I mean by this, but the name you give your character needs to encompass every aspect of them, and fit them perfectly. It needs to feel right.

Now, when you're writing a story, there's more to it than that. Expanding on what >>15355902 says, that name needs to (unless you have an actual reason to do otherwise) be a name which doesn't look out of place when considering their country, or the names of those people around them.

If I were writing a monstergirl character like an anubis, sphinx, or pharaoh, my basic course of action might be to look at a list of feminine Egyptian names, and documented feminine Ancient Egyptian names. For an elegant English vampire, I'd look at names commonly given to girls in England around 200 years ago. I might play around, using common stuctures and syllables to construct a name which still anthroponymastically (or is it just onomastically?) sound when viewed amongst those other names.

Also, translating meanings of words relating to other languages and fiddling around with that is something else I'll often do. Obviously you shouldn't go overboard with this, otherwise you can end up in a situation where you have a parent who names their child something which translates into "Speedy McGoesquick" for a character who is exceptionally fast. Like, how the fuck are the parents meant to know their child can be that thing they name them for, before they've even grown up? It's best to avoid logical fallacies like that.

Describe them as having an accent upon introduction, and write their dialogue as you always would. A few apostrophes or modifications in stand-out situations every once in a while won't hurt, but altering every line of dialogue to match a character's pronounciation is (usually) a bad, bad idea. Especially so if the character appears frequently.

You can trust the studious anubis.
