The biggest controversy that the jap version ever had was pretty early on, around the time when the base version of Toyohime was released. They nerfed the amount of cubes that you could get from errands and only mentioned it in passing at the very bottom of an update page by basically just saying "adjusted errand rewards". Before that day each individual character on an errand could bring home the amount of cube listed on the errand so you could get 10+ cubes in one go. I can totally see why they nerfed it since before that you could spark every single banner every week and never run out of cubes but it was still a pretty dick move. They made a seperate apology post that went into more detail but the changes are in the game to this very day. Global started with the nerfed amount of cubes and never even saw the original amounts.
