As for your question, oddly enough one of my favorite takes on Meiling was from a story that wasn't even about her, called "So Tonight I'll Overlook it". Here it is on danbooru.

She gets to show off a little, Sakuya isn't depicted as being a complete cunt to her and in fact they're relatively friendly towards one another, and Meiling even gets to be somewhat useful to the story's plot.
