I was only saying that as hyperbole. I was getting at how people like to pick any random pointless aspect of something they like and praise it as a quality of it's superiority. Ah, yes, the PS3 sprites lack that white border the r07 ones have. They had no idea what they were doing. That very white border helps give the sprites a fantastical mood by separating them from their backgrounds, giving them an otherworldly presence. Alchemist really fucked up there.

I don't find it funny that people share their opinions on why they like the sprites more, what's funny to me is what is sometimes elevated as a plus. I used the essay comparison for a reason.
