BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY!: Stay clear away from the obvious "Main Characters", the supporting cast, or ANY Shonen stereotypes and cliches. Yes I know you're talking about isekai SPECIFICALLY, BUT! The things you all are talking about are also just as commonplace in Shonen settings and scenarios. And arguably, Shonen cliches and tropes are just as worse/severe as Isekai tropes and cliches.
