My hopes are still high for glasses fans in the future, we even got Nazuna herself wearing them with the last event. The latest additions (Lobelia and Pingpong Mum) were both great too, and it's always worth noting that Pingpong Mum's glasses were re-added after players asked about them, so it's not like there's any lack of demand for glasses girls on the JP side.

I've been saying this ad nauseam, but I'm personally holding out for the addition of 2*-4* characters from Lotus Lake. We're likely to get a batch of around 10 girls, since that's what all the other nations have, and there's bound to be a glasses girl among that many characters.

And speaking of things to look forward to, looks like the cover for Apricot's LN is out, and Oxygyne's design with it. While her fellow mushroom-parasitic flower, Monotropastrum, plays off the "ghost plant" theme (the plant is called so because it's absolutely devoid of chlorophyll, giving it a ghastly pale color), her design is indeed based around mushrooms, and I have high expectations from her skill animation. I think she will also be the second girl without a flower meaning in the game, so all bets are off for the flower bases of following LN girls.

The book is coming out at the end of this month, which is coincidentally in the spirit of the season, as you wouldn't find a Halloween-ier plant than a mycoheterotroph. We're also very likely to get another long-awaited girl in Artemisia by then, completing the circle of Broom's friends (while it's unlikely, there are even some comments about Broom's grandmother showing up as a Dusty Miller-style lolibabaa character).
