Lets just say... web development is a shit hole now. There's so many frameworks and tooling, its ridiculous.
What we've done with the train website is mostly scripting via Jekyll, to reduce the redundant work. Its not great, but it helps.

Perhaps its better to state that "we are looking for volunteers to maintain the list of streams". So people don't mistake it as "maintaining the website", which sounds more monumental.
