Aoi Honoo (Blue Blazes), based on the manga about the college days of the author, Hideaki Anno and the building of Gainax.

Kojiharu had a little role in it.

MG is just unusual levels of bad (not even members like participating on it) but I've seen some decent stuff. The adaptation of the Aoi Honoo manga is really good if you're an oldschool anime otaku; you get to see Hideaki Anno as a young cinema student, the roots of Gainax and Kojiharu had a little role in it.
