i was about to say i wish i could eat some lead paint chips or something and lower my IQ a standard deviation so i could start enjoying this dumb shit. but then i realized that i would lose my appreciation for series like hxh. imagine if i watched hxh and i was confused about the powers or story lines or characters and didn't pick up on any of the themes and everything just seemed random. like what if the nuke just seemed like some random thing instead of commentary on humanity. it would just seem like a typical shonen to me. i don't want to lower myself to that.
