Since the manga corroborates that interpretation, its seen as 'canon', but going exclusively by the VN, several different, incompatible theories can be considered ''valid'', thus making the goal of definitely ''solving the VN'' an impossible task. That's was true when it was completed, and even more so at the earlier stages, so those retards saying ''I've solved the VN before the fourth text line in chapter one'' are just memeing on you and looking to get their ego stroked.
