If anyone is still interested, this is the first part of the translation of the Kokuhaku letter before I go to sleep, this one was sent to Mari's family after the funeral. I don't know if I should finish translating or not, but all the important bits are there.

If you manage to get to the end before getting bored, the reference to a certain Tomoko who went lost in the Gunma prefecture is linked to this case (still unsolved, though at first blamed on Miyazaki)
