On a completely unrelated note, I just found out that the narration for Matsuri seems to take place in Heisei, despite it seemingly being from Takano's perspective. I don't know if this was the same in the original text or if it's just the translation fucking up first/third person and that the narrator wasn't supposed to be Takano, but it feels really awkward either way.
