It's not only me who say it, there was this thread in /a/ where japanese authors themselves explained how dangerous fans were these days and how careful they have to be with their words

I think Ryukishi style clashes with the current Japanese because ryukishi doesn't write for selfinserts. All their stories are characters mean to have their own feelings, traumas, and pain. They will never be able to selfinsert as Battler, Rika, Miyao, etc etc, they just want their selfinsert and the girls to be just part of the harem
If he writes a story about a meta witch insulting you of course she will do the same to readers, that's the whole point, meta inside a meta
