Except it isn't, Doujin usually means a group of people or a person who shares a common interest with people, in other words a hobbyist. It must be noted however that in slang terms it can also mean artists who publish something together. Anyhow, the Shi part kanji of Doujinshi quite literally means a regular publication of sorts. Meaning when you put Doujin and Shi together and transliterate it you get Clique/Hobbyist Regular Publication, so really if one wants to be correct one would call "Doujins" Doujinshi, or Doujin plus Shi if you really want to home in the passion.

always end up regretting installing windows and need to re-arrange my partitions I reserved for windows to get rid of it

When setting up a new computer, I often installed it just "in case" there was something that wouldn't run fine in wine, but for what I use, I never had issues...

furthermore, everytime I actually use windows, such a pain to do the simplest things, all those lacking tools.. I just end up ssh'ing to my other computer

How can any of you people stand windows is beyond me (although I've been using linux since 1995 remotly, and 1997 at home with slackware, so I maybe I'm just too used to it)
