Probably a mix of both. Moa always talks about how much she loves her mom though so I'm sure they have very good relationship. Her mom is very strict and they come from the most conservative prefecture in Japan(how's that for your memes?) but her mom almost became an idol herself but her parents didn't allow her to. She didn't want to do the same to Moa but made her promise she won't change at all or else she'll take her out the idol life.

Su's mom seems a lot more laid back and just excited over everything. Who knows what Yui's mom is like but they may be wealthy if they were friends with Ayami's parents.
