It boggles my mind that he went from something as efficient and simple as Anki to something as tedious and bloated as Memrise. Out of curiosity I looked through the thread on the kanji koohii forum advertising the above linked video series only to find out that he is recreating the A Dictionary of Japanese Grammar books as a Memrise course. This means he is taking the DoJG Anki deck made by DJT and fucking around fitting it into Memrise. It is in a way, taking a port of a port and porting it to an entirely redundant platform. That's either procrastination of the highest order or one of the laziest attempts and using the work of other people and slapping a logo on it for Patreon bucks.

Does Patreon even allow blatant copyright violation like this? I suppose whatever pocket change he earns Patreon takes a chunk. Why are so many of these internet personas among the mainstream Japanese language learning community lame borderline con artists? Cult of personality is crazy.
