Even funnier, this image is wrong. Cyan doesn't look like that. This is the real color spectrum.
Cyan is made artificially brighter than it really is because we mostly see it from a particular frame of reference - when it is glowing. Cyan is everywhere in its natural colors, but we mostly see it glowing (in the sky).
The Cyan range is one of the weakest areas of our vision, similarly weak as near-infrared and UV.
It always triggers the fuck out of me seeing cyan in color pickers for that reason.
