By the end of Umineko, I felt like I really got to know and understand these characters and their flaws and strengths. Objectively speaking, many of them are terrible people and I don't condone that, but at least I understand them and why they do the things they do.

Will Higurashi make me feel the same way? Is it still good even though I already know some of the twists?
