No, only Bern did, and she was a mere piece who later ascended to witch status much like Ange, Erika, Battler etc. There's also the fact that Featherine and Lambda already existed prior to the Higurashi gameboard's existence. Lambda's the one who gave the power of certainty to Takano since the start of that game, Featherine was the game master who had her horns damaged and turns into the amnesiac Hanyuu, thus Rika has to bear the burden of solving the game that her master has forgotten about (however it's implied Hanyuu deliberately didn't help Rika as much as she could because she was being selfish and didn't want to be alone if Rika won and left).

Higurashi was always just a gameboard, dude. Did you forget what Bern's backstory is?

I dunno, I think they hammered it pretty fucking hard to just be a nod rather than the real thing, bonus for the manga. Bern also explicitly mentions being in Higurashi anyway.
