When I say I "did" 70 new cards, I meant I make 70 separate mnemonic stories for the 70 new kanji, a process which can take upwards of...70 minutes. So I spend about 10-20 minutes reviewing, then 70-90 minutes doing new stuff. All because I have a goal of being able to write a letter of apology to my japanese friend.
