Mononobe no Futsuhime was the sister of Mononobe no Moriya and the wife of Soga no Umako. Futsuhime conspired with Umako against the Mononobe clan, and ultimately brought victory to the Soga clan (the two clans were warring over the issue of state religion) after the battle at Shigi-san. Futsuhime and Umako later had several children, one of whom was Tojiko no Iratsume, later consort of Shotoku Taishi.

This is consistent with Futo's backstory in TD's extra story, where Futo conspires against her own clan, and ultimately assists in its defeat by the Soga. The only difference is a behind-the-scenes involvement of Shotoku Taishi, who in TD's extra story is credited with giving Futo the idea in the first place.

If anyone is anyone else's parent, then Futo is the mother of Tojiko.
