If Yorihime had not have proven that it was Reimu that was summoning the constellation gods, what do you think would happened to her? She was being suspected of overthrowing the Lunar Capital after all. Not only that, the fact that the moon went into such a tense situation over it too, shows you how rigid the capital truly really is. The rabbits on the moon are slaves of the Lunarian people, and likely the Watatsuki's helping in the cause too. Also, it's pretty clear the Earthlings don't like Lunarians, so they likely don't like the Watatsuki's either. Regardless of being liked, they still have character flaws. It's the fact they look down on Earthlings like they're nothing more than insects, or bugs.

See Kaguya for instance. She doesn't really see Earthlings like that. Now, it is true that Lunarians are superior to Earthlings, there is no denying that. She knows it, Eirin knows it, Reisen knows it. However, while that may be true, they still choose to live among the Earthlings like equals. Kaguya wants to be treated like an equal, she doesn't want to be seen as something superior or treated differently because of where she came from. Eirin used to see Earthlings as no more than tools, but now she's been seeing humans as equals as well, though she still has an issue with being condescending due to her incredible intelligence. Reisen has become completely accustomed to Earth in recent time. Yet, they all used to have the same view as the Lunarians on the moon now. Wouldn't you say that is a growth in character? Because of that, it's safe to say the Watatsuki's are flawed due to their view of Earthlings as well as Lunar rabbits. So condescending huh? And they're in no position to change. Though unlike other Lunarians, they're closer. After all, they're still contact with Eirin.
