other discoveries for those interested. comparisons are to the single-game practice exes.
--vpatch.exe is built-in and auto-launches if the ini and dll are detected. if either is missing, the game launches without vpatch.
--tab switches warp organization (either by stage section first or by non/spell first).
--top-row 1/2/3 switches languages.
--power/life/etc menu values no longer wrap between min and max. still no way (that i can find) to make larger jumps in values.
--only works with original jp game exes.
--still compatible with some modified dat files (ex: sprite mods). some mods depend on the game, working with some but not others.

eosd fixes/bugs from cursory testing:
--spoileral invincibility+hitsound option no longer crashes the game.
--slideshow (on my machine) if vsync=1 in vpatch.ini.
--still loses certain sound effects if warp to certain later nons/spells (ex: s5 boss s2/n3/s3).

mof fixes/bugs from thorough testing:
--s4 post-midboss works properly now when warping to s4 midboss.
--if warp to s3 midboss, enemies enter the screen and start firing while post-midboss cutscene is still onscreen (pic related). the mof-only practice exe does not have this bug.
--s4 boss and s6 boss nonspell backgrounds now start with their boss non/stage backgrounds when warping to those. when warping to other midbosses/bosses, non/stage backgrounds still start as they were at the start of the stage (probably applies to all games).
--seems like there are no longer instances where bosses drop way more power than they should. now, they drop at most .05 too much, and this only seems to occur for a single spell and only when warping directly to it or to the non before it. (not sure if was/is an issue with other games)
