that's a rather shitty way of defending art, if you can only think of "well i bet you're shittier than them" then it seems like you can't even think of a redeeming attribute of the original artstyle to defend it, so instead you deflect to the idea that the critic is worse at producing the art than the producer as if that devaluates the opinion and only those superior at producing something can say that those beneath them are worse
developing an hierarchy style of critique seems a little foolish, don't you think?
