Whenever i use my DSLR, I mostly shoot it in jpeg mode except in situations i want the highest quality such as macro shots, in very poor light conditions. Does help so i don't have to mess around in production production all that much.

I do like the DSLR and Mirrorless look as they usually give more depth to an image.
