Kaguya isn't a princess anymore. She lost whatever claims to royalty she had when she was exiled from the moon.

She keeps herself wrapped up in her Eientei security blanket however because she has to keep up the pretense that she's still someone important.

Mokou used to be royalty too, but she knows that was a long time ago. Mokou is much more mature than Kaguya.

And Mokou is an empathetic person. She rescues those who have been lost in the bamboo forest, while Kaguya sits around all day in her mansion, bossing rabbit Youkai around and being of no use to anyone.

Also Mokou is taller than Kaguya and is therefore objectively better.
