>She couldn't take it after they reached the thirty minute mark. He was leaning his head against the window and looking back only when they hit a bump on the road.

>Her eyes peeked over to the index card stealthily hidden in her driver's side pocket. It contained over thirty interesting and exciting notes that she could use to start a conversation and get him to open up.

>The first one seemed like a good ice-breaker. "So why are you interested in the con?" She sat up and pushed her chest forward. There wasn't much to look at, but he'd surely like to take a peek of her breasts.

>"Wha? Oh yeah I guess I like videogames and stuff. It's cool." He muttered and returned to looking at the scene outside the window.

>"Yeah I mostly just play on my phone. I don't play on my mac." He cut the conversation and promptly returned to staring out the window. For a second she considered seriously opening the door and throwing herself out of it, how could she have fucked it up this badly by being so selfish?

>The rest of the ride was spent in relative silence. She asked him two more questions from her list which elicited a grunt on one occasion and silence on the other one. He was probably just saving his energy for walking around together.

>He pulled out his phone and sent a series of messages as she pulled into the parking lot. For the first time he smiled as he looked at the bright screen before turning back to her. "Oh yea, my friend's joining us." She smiled as earnest as possible while trying not to rip the steering wheel.
