She has that same sort of vocal range and nasally sound of singing like maki. She could easily sing most or all of Maki's old songs and sound great. Listen to some of Maki's old solo work, she sounds alike but Airi is a lot smoother than Maki and has better vocal control. But Maki has more power than Airi based on their live performances.

I don't know that much about airi, but it wouldn't surprise me if she admires Maki and was influenced by her.

I wonder if they've started rehearsing for the show. It's 11 days away at this point.

Maki made a blog post about watching her old concert DVDs so I'm wondering if she's gonna perform, and in that case what, together with Kago and Airi of all people. And if this show doesn't get at least partially filmed for some legal/contractual reason, like all three performers being signed to different agencies, I'm having a cry. Someone will atleast come through with a bootleg audio recording.
