The artist has the right to take some liberties with their designs so long as they don't directly conflict with what the author has already established. While the older females are generally accepted to be well-endowed in all works, younger looking characters like Maria, Dlanor, Erika, Bern, and Lambda have all been portrayed with varying figures by different artists, since the original work didn't make their proportions explicitly clear.

Episode 8's manga made Erika and Bernkastel appear significantly curvier than they did in any of the other ones, with the possible exception Erika's wedding appearance in Episode 6's manga. On the other hand, Lambda was given a slightly smaller chest than before, while Maria and Dlanor remained presumably flat since they are usually depicted as such.
