It's extremely useful for organization in pretty much every facet of writing. There's sections for locations, notes, references, chapters, events, etc...

Comes with editor tools that include a thesaurus things like word count, readability, repeated phrases and words,etc...

My favourite part would probably be the character section. You can neatly lay out personality traits, family relationships, details of the character, and the like. Akin to the editor tools it comes with character tools to help get you started on filling out the details. There's also a storyline editor where you can track characters across a timeline of events within the story.

There's really a lot to the program that you can use but you can easily just ignore all that and use it only for organizing chapters. It's as basic and complex as you want it to be.

I'd recommend trying out the demo to see how you like it. I ended up buying it because I could only find keys online for older versions. I could always give out mine if wanted, save you $60
