Let's not kid ourselves. Not everybody out there is capable of finding somebody who will love them. You can have sex with somebody whom you met through some date and fuck site, but that doesn't necessarily mean you'll ever be able to establish any deeper relationship with them, and even if you do, it might be a dysfunctional one that will only result in one person occasionally receiving pleasure and the other one being drained out by putting in lots of effort for a meaningless hedonistic endeavour. What if I do meet someone, but that person turns out to be into weird music, taking drugs, and sleeping with several men/women night after night? What if it's a New Age cult member? What if it's somebody who likes yellow curtains? All roads lead to disappointment and misery in some way or another anyway.
