Am I awake? I often ask myself that. Then I often wonder why I ask myself that. Can you really tell if life is a playback of your dreams, or are your dreams a playback of reality? I pinch myself to check. Three guesses what happened next.

It wasn't that I had been dreaming; I could clearly tell that the semi attractive woman sitting beside me was real. It wasn't even that I am narcoleptic and am prone to sleep attacks; as a result my pain threshold was significantly higher than the average human being. Yeah, I pinched myself and I was worried that I was actually dreaming, that I had always been living this lie of a life, but something extraordinary happened moments after I had made that pinch. I met Sandra. I knew she was real, because the sex felt much more of an effort than it usually did.

You'd be amazed how such a thing can be easily forgotten, swept under the rug, like a bad memory just piled on top of other bad memories. I'm surprised that I can assume I know what you're thinking. At some point in your life, you come at the peak of things, where you've experienced all that there was to experience, and then you gradually decline from there. It isn't until then that you know you are decaying - slowly rotting away.

I know this because I've spent time thinking about this, about reality and dreams, and their differences and similarities. I know this because I've spent probably what's been years inside of this room, with a dirty rug in the centre, and Sandra playfully dancing from patron to patron. I know this is my dream, because she never smiled.

The realization stabbed me at my core like a pin needle strikes a cushion. The voices I had been hearing weren't coming from the patrons. It wasn't that I had been drifting in and out and always coming back to this room - no, wait, I had been coming back because it is the figment of my mind. I'm not actually in this room; I am the room.

I would prefer a big budget game on a major console, like a tag tournament for fighting games or a HD collection of the danmaku games but everyone here will probably disagree with me....
