Yuzumi Diary

Title: Surrounded by the Scarlet Sky and Splendid Scents

Good evening, it's Yuzumi.
Today i'm going to write my first report in a long time.
Have you all had dinner already?
I haven't yet~
I've been feeling hungry all the time recently, especially while coming back from school... Growing up brings on a lot of hunger, doesn't it. When I'm on the way back from school, the sky in Wakayama turns scarlet. I make my way back enveloped by mountains and rice fields and the smell of dinner cooking from around the neighborhood. Are we having mackarel or beltfish for dinner tonight? I make my way home thoroughly conjecting. Everything around me is red and once in a while I can smell the scent of my beloved gold osmanthus trees. Whether it be the moon festival or the various autumn festivals at the shrine, this season has something relaxing about it. I love it, Autumn. Right now lined up next to me are two mandarin oranges. Should I eat them now, or should i wait until later... I really can't choose. What should I do-
Alright, I'll eat them now. Right now early ripening Mandarin oranges are in season. Their characteristic sweetness and exactly right amount of acidity along with their smallish size make them really easy to eat. They're so good! Please try them out, everyone. I'd like to show all of you Wakayama's autumn scenery... Please come visit me again sometime, ok?
Let's all do our best to watch our health and not catch a cold during this transition of seasons.
See you later.
