A while ago he uploaded onto their main channel a relaxation/meditation/sleeping/studying music video that was like an hour long and was just a mix of random songs that that had nothing to do with Desu Rabbits. Some of the songs had vocals and although I didn't recognize any of them but it was obvious that they were done by other unrelated artists.

He also started uploading his DJ sets around that time and one of them had part of the audio muted iirc since he had include Babymetal in his mix and Sony Music is notorious for content claiming.

He also had one or two DJ videos with Passcode in it so maybe that was enough to trigger three strikes, at which point youtube deletes your account.


BUT

If that were the case then we would have seen one video taken down by copyright claims, then the second and the third over time. The channel was shut down literally overnight, that just doesn't happen as far as copyright strikes go.

More importantly, if you try watching one of their videos it says that the channel was "closed" - not "terminated". Terminated means that it was youtube itself deleted the account. Closed means that the owner aka Bucho closed the account. He can restore it any time.

So I don't know what the deal is.

He's the glue that holds Death/Desu Rabbits together. He not only brings the hardcore fusion sound but he's their goofy mascot, Yuzu is always slapping and kicking him and their fans never cheer for him and are always yelling at him to retire and all that.

He also reached out to all three Ladybaby members when they broke up and is still in touch with the beard lady.

both are more or less comedic idol groups so yeah there's some crossover. You should post your own idol groups instead of crying like a salty baby because other people are having fun!

Well first thing, I would say that you should not look at any other bands (not just Death Rabbits) through Babymetal goggles. It warps your perception and forms a bias to always use them as a frame of reference for any sort of metal-ish idol groups. Babymetal are to metal-idols as to what Skrillex was to dubstep.


More importantly, Death Rabbits aren't metal and they're not trying to be, unlike Ladybaby or other groups. It's mostly pop, especially their second album. With other groups it's mostly metal.

I'd say that he's actually a better singer/screamer than Ladybeard, not to start beef between the two. Bucho's just been doing it for years and years as Akiradeath. The second album as well features less of Bucho on vocals.

I'm not sure what videos you've been watching, but it's only recently that they've been switching out outfits. Their music videos don't do justice to their choreography either.

As far as the music goes, like I said, it's the fact that it's mostly pop with some elements of digital hardcore and rock and sometimes metal.

As far as the group goes, it's the fact that they don't take themselves seriously at all. I'm gonna go against my own advice and make a comparison to Babymetal.

Bucho is supposed to be this tough guy who leads the Death Rabbits army against alien invasions and shit & screams against corruption and injustice, but the girls constantly bully him and the crowd makes fun of him - and he makes fun of himself.

Again with the whole death rabbits "army" thing, they're not pretending at all that it's actually a thing. They're an idol group without pretense. Unlike babymetal with their whole fox god thing, the Death Rabbits girls are seen in regular clothes and smiling and laughing backstage and at rehearsal and even have an official blog where they talk about their personal lives.

Same with the live shows, there's a ton of crowd interaction where people are encouraged to make fun of Bucho & whatever else and it's an organic interaction between them and the fans rather than a by-the-numbers concert.

I'll admit that their first album wasn't as refined as it could be, but their second one is a katana sword folded a thousand times over.

Overall it's just fun.

Citrus-chan is pure, she's just a great idol and willing to put on embarrassing costumes.

She's also a great actress and plays a tsuntsun character on stage and in their albums with Bucho
