Imagine fat Enje. Not in a good way. Now imagine fat in a way that Enje is good to you and that you like what you see.
As you do the mental exercise, you may find your body and mind have a desire to be more enje-y.

Enje-sement can be an effective aid in fat loss, because the practice of enj-u-ment changes the way you feel about food, and your body will use this feeling to help you eat less of the things that it likes. To help you see the power of this, imagine fat on the scale. Does it make you feel any better? How would you react to being shown that you are at 7 percent body fat? Most people would not like it, and probably react by eating more. Imagine fat on the scale makes you feel bad about yourself, unhappy, and hungry.

To begin enje-sement, go to a comfortable spot and take three deep breaths. Now, close your eyes and imagine yourself at 10 percent body fat. Really feel the heaviness of that image.
Think about how that makes you feel. Do you feel the need to feed yourself, to eat less? Think about that for a moment. You may be hungry. Does that sound right?

Open your eyes and return to the space you were just in. Now, slowly and deliberately close your eyes again and imagine yourself at 14 percent body fat. How do you feel? Feel that heaviness on your body.

What do you need to do to feed your body to stay at 14 percent body fat?
What do you need to do to make yourself feel better about that?

Now, close your eyes, think about eating less, about feeding your body in a way that keeps you at 14 percent body fat, and imagine yourself at 10 percent body fat. How do you feel? You are hungry. You will do everything in your power to eat as much as you need to feed yourself to stay at 10 percent body fat.

Does this make sense? If so, then you are ready to start the enje-sement process. If not, take a moment to think about what you may need to learn in order to move forward. Now, open your eyes, return to your body, and close your eyes again.

When you are ready, imagine yourself at 7 percent body fat. What do you need to do to feed yourself to stay there?

There is something you need to learn about your body to stay at 7 percent body fat and not be like fat Enje that can't move, can't feed itself, and can't stay around for long. As you think about this and imagine, your body will tell you what you need to do to go through the process of enje-ing.
