You leap into hiding, closing the door swiftly behind you and huddling into cover within the cramped and dark pantry.

Footsteps pass by outside, you think you hear shouting and the definite sound of multiple individuals moving throughout the house.

The pantry is too dark to see anything, your only glimpse being due to outside lighting before shutting the door, it would be easy to trip and spill your biscuits.
